How to discover the milk adulteration

Milk is an essential food in Tamilnadu in every family they used to consume the milk as their breakfast. The milk has been contaminated either adulteration by the chemicals, urea, flour etc…. If the milk is adulterate means follow the points to find out the materials which were adulterate in the milk.

Powder

If the milk is mixed with powder means, boiled the milk with slow flame and moved by a spoon until it gets thicker when the milk turned as thicker means leave it for 3 hours after it turned as in a room temperature means ensure when the milk seems as creamy oily content means the milk is original product rather than it seems to be a thicker content means they added powder for adulteration.

Water

The milk is added with water means it is easy to find it, takes drops of milk and pours into the oily slope it running quickly means the milk is adulterate by water but it is moves slowly and white content remains formed means it is not adulterate.

Chemicals

When the milk is added with the chemicals means the milk taste is different and when we boiled the milk means it has to modify into yellow colour and then apply in hands means it creates foam this was used for form foam in a milk to seems to be a natural milk.

Starch flour

This starch flour identification is take 5 ml milk and add 2 tea spoon iodine salt this milk colour will be modify into blue colour this shows the milk is adulterate with the starch content.

Urea 

Urea is not changing the taste and it is tough to identify the adulteration. Take 2 tea spoons milk and add with the soya powder mixed well after 5 minutes add litmus paper for 30 seconds when the colour has changed into blue colour means the milk is adulterate with the urea powder. Above these mentioned point’s helps to identify the milk adulteration.
